Role Description The Tally Trainer will deliver classroom and practical training on Tally accounting software to learners at Nirmaan's Bengaluru center. This full-time, on-site role includes planning and conducting sessions, demonstrating key Tally functionalities, and guiding participants through hands-on exercises related to accounting, payroll, inventory, and GST & TDS. The trainer will design lesson plans, prepare training materials, assess learner progress through assignments and evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to support skill development. The role also involves maintaining training records, coordinating with program staff, and adapting content to suit different learning levels and backgrounds. The Tally Trainer is expected to foster an inclusive learning environment and support learners in becoming employment-ready in accounting and finance roles.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Tally (latest versions), including accounting, inventory, taxation, and GST & TDS modules add-on ZOHO.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in training, teaching, or facilitating group learning, preferably in vocational or skill-development settings.
• Ability to design structured lesson plans, create simple training materials, and facilitate engaging an innovative activities, assess learner performance.
• Clear communication skills in English and local languages as relevant, with the ability to explain technical concepts in an accessible way.
• Comfort working with diverse learner groups, with a commitment to gender-neutral, inclusive, and non-discriminatory training practices.
• Good computer literacy, including use of MS Office or Google Workspace for reports, presentations, and record-keeping.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications in Tally or accounting are an added advantage.
• Prior experience working with NGOs or skill development programs is beneficial.
