About the Role

BioGenex Life Sciences is looking for a hands-on Talent Acquisition Executive / Recruitment Executive to independently manage end-to-end recruitment across technical, scientific, sales, marketing, operations and corporate functions.

The role requires a proactive recruiter who can understand hiring requirements, source relevant candidates, conduct initial screening, coordinate interviews and drive positions toward successful closure. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and managing multiple open positions simultaneously.

Experience with Zoho Recruit or a similar ATS and exposure to recruitment in biotechnology, life sciences, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or healthcare will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from requirement understanding to position closure.
  
• Work with the CEO, Chief of Staff and functional leaders to understand hiring requirements and candidate specifications.
  
• Prepare and publish job descriptions across LinkedIn, Zoho Recruit, job portals and other sourcing channels.
  
• Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, databases, referrals, networking and direct sourcing.
  
• Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on technical/functional requirements, experience, stability and suitability.
  
• Conduct initial HR screening covering experience, communication, current/expected CTC, notice period, location and career expectations.
  
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure timely candidate and management follow-ups.
  
• Manage offer discussions, salary negotiations, offer rollout and joining follow-ups.
  
• Maintain accurate candidate records, interview feedback and recruitment status in the ATS.
  
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and critical positions.
  
• Track recruitment metrics including open positions, sourcing pipeline, interviews, offers, closures and turnaround time.
  
• Support pre-employment documentation and coordinate with HR for onboarding and background verification.
  
• Maintain a professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  
• Handle multiple vacancies simultaneously and take individual ownership for timely closures.
  
  

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on recruitment/Talent Acquisition experience.
  
• Strong experience in sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interview coordination, negotiation and position closure.
  
• Ability to work as an individual contributor with minimal supervision.
  
• Good understanding of recruitment through LinkedIn and major job portals.
  
• Experience using Zoho Recruit is preferred; experience with another ATS is acceptable.
  
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
  
• Basic understanding of Indian labor laws and HR practices relevant to recruitment and employment.
  
• Ability to understand technical and specialized job descriptions and identify relevant candidates.
  
• Strong follow-up, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and recruitment priorities simultaneously.
  
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and recruitment reporting.
