To manage end-to-end government tender and GeM (Government e-Marketplace. activities, including tender identification, evaluation, documentation, SAP transactions, internal approvals, portal management, compliance, and post-award coordination. The role will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant tender participation and support seamless order execution.
Job Description
The Assistant Manager for Sup-Tender-MDM MIS in the Domestic Business sector is responsible for managing comprehensive government tender and GeM (Government e-Marketplace. activities. This role involves identifying, evaluating, and documenting tenders, as well as handling SAP transactions and securing internal approvals. The Assistant Manager will oversee portal management, ensure compliance with tender requirements, and coordinate post-award activities. The position demands a high level of accuracy and timeliness in tender participation, supporting seamless order execution. The role requires collaboration with various departments to validate product specifications and assess tender suitability. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will manage customer code creation and maintenance in SAP, ensuring accurate processing of DPR and advance payments. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, strategic planning, and leadership skills to effectively manage multiple tenders and GeM activities simultaneously.

Manage customer code creation and maintenance in SAP ensuring accurate and timely processing of DPR and advance paymentsbrReview open tenders on platforms like Tender247 to identify relevant opportunities for Welspun products coordinating with the Sales team for alignmentbrEvaluate tender eligibility criteria technical specifications commercial conditions and submission requirements to ensure compliance and suitabilitybrCollaborate with Sales Category and Technical teams to validate product specifications and assess tender suitabilitybrCoordinate with Sales Technical Finance Legal and other stakeholders to complete tender documentation and approvals promptlybrPrepare and compile necessary tender documents including product catalogues authorization letters technical specifications and commercial documentsbrObtain all necessary internal approvals and ensure the accurate complete and timely submission of tender documentsbrParticipate in tenders on behalf of authorized distributors andor Welspun monitoring submission deadlines and tender updatesbrHandle tender clarifications and queries coordinating with internal teams for timely responsesbrManage EMD and ePBG submissions as per tender requirements ensuring compliance with all terms and conditionsbrOversee the endtoend GeM portal process from tender identification to postaward activities maintaining accurate records throughoutbrCommunicate tender awards to the Sales team and coordinate with relevant functions for timely order execution and deliverybrTrack postaward requirements to ensure fulfillment of tender commitments within stipulated timelinesbrEnsure adherence to internal processes approval requirements compliance standards and defined timelinesbrManage multiple tenders and GeM activities simultaneously ensuring accuracy timely followup and effective closure
