About the Volunteer Program

Crianca's Student Volunteer Program aims to engage passionate students in promoting child safety, access to education, and child well-being. Volunteers will contribute their time, skills, and creativity to create awareness, support initiatives, connect with communities, and help build a safer and brighter future for children.

1. Outreach and Funding Volunteer

Role Overview: Support Crianca's outreach initiatives, partnerships, and fundraising efforts to expand the organisation's impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities.
• Reach out to schools, colleges, community groups, and organisations to build partnerships.
• Support fundraising campaigns, donation drives, and awareness events.
• Help prepare sponsorship proposals and fundraising materials.
• Promote Crianca's mission and initiatives among students and local communities.
• Maintain records of outreach activities and potential partners.

Ideal Candidate: A proactive communicator with good interpersonal skills, initiative, and an interest in community engagement and fundraising.

2. Social Media Volunteer

Role Overview: Help strengthen Crianca's online presence and spread awareness about child safety, education, and children's rights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
• Design posters, carousels, reels, and awareness campaigns.
• Research relevant topics and communicate key messages in an accessible way.
• Assist with content calendars, captions, hashtags, and scheduling posts.
• Monitor engagement and suggest ideas to improve outreach.
• Ensure content respects children's privacy, dignity, and safety.

Ideal Candidate: A creative individual interested in digital communication, content creation, graphic design, or social media management.

3. Research and Publications Volunteer

Role Overview: Contribute to research, educational resources, and publications that support Crianca's work in child safety and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research topics related to child protection, education access, child rights, and welfare.
• Gather information from credible reports, publications, and official sources.
• Assist in writing articles, blogs, newsletters, reports, and awareness materials.
• Summarise research findings into clear, accessible content.
• Support the preparation and editing of educational resources and campaign publications.
• Ensure information is accurate, properly cited, and presented sensitively.

Ideal Candidate: A detail-oriented student with strong writing, analytical, and research skills and an interest in social issues.
