Role Description

The Store Associate role at Geom365 is a full-time, on-site position based in Salbari,Siliguri.

Store Associates support day-to-day store operations, including welcoming customers, assisting with product selection, handling billing, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, checking product quality and expiry dates, managing point-of-sale transactions, and ensuring accurate cash handling. Store Associates help implement promotional displays, answer customer queries, and support efforts to build repeat business and loyalty. This role requires adherence to company policies, basic use of retail technology systems, and collaboration with the store team to meet sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Loyalty, with a focus on delivering a positive in-store experience.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and supervisors.
• Experience or interest in Retail Sales, including product recommendations, upselling, and handling transactions.
• Basic understanding of Store Management concepts such as inventory handling, visual merchandising, and adherence to store processes.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, in a 24×7 retail environment.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as lifting and stocking.
• Prior experience in convenience retail or grocery stores is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma (or local equivalent); proficiency in local language and basic English is preferred.
