Role Description: The Steward role at Oraka – Kitchen & Bar is a full-time, on-site position based in Udaipur. The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas, including arranging dishes, utensils, and glassware, and ensuring they are properly stored. This role supports the food and beverage team by replenishing supplies, assisting with basic food service preparation, and ensuring all stations are ready for service. The Steward helps maintain hygiene standards, handles waste disposal according to safety guidelines, and collaborates with kitchen and service staff to support smooth operations throughout shifts. The position may also involve assisting with receiving and organizing inventory and providing general support during busy service times.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with team members and support a positive guest experience.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including basic handling, hygiene, and safety practices.
• Ability to participate in and benefit from Training related to kitchen procedures, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or hotel environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
