State Head - MF/PMS/AIF - Banking/Financial Services

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned financial services leader to spearhead our regional operations as the State Head for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In this pivotal role, you will drive the growth of our Mutual Fund, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) portfolios by crafting and executing high-impact sales strategies. You will act as the primary face of the organization, engaging with high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, and key distribution partners to expand our market footprint. By fostering deep-rooted relationships and leading a high-performing sales team, you will be instrumental in scaling our assets under management and solidifying our brand presence across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets across MF, PMS, and AIF product lines.

- Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key distributors, wealth management firms, and institutional clients to ensure consistent business inflow.

- Lead and mentor regional sales teams, providing the guidance and performance oversight necessary to exceed organizational objectives.

- Analyze regional market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and refine our product positioning.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product and investment teams, to deliver tailored investment solutions that meet the complex needs of our clients.

- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance and internal risk management frameworks while maintaining high standards of service excellence.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing diverse investment portfolios, with a deep understanding of the nuances of Mutual Funds, PMS, and AIF structures.

- Proven ability to build and sustain high-value institutional and retail relationships, backed by a strong network within the UP and Uttarakhand financial ecosystem.

- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of managing and motivating high-performing teams to deliver consistent results in competitive markets.

- Strong analytical acumen to interpret market data and translate it into actionable sales strategies that drive business growth.

- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, enabling effective engagement with CXOs, family offices, and key decision-makers.

- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to problem-solving, ensuring agility in a dynamic financial landscape.

- Candidates should possess a minimum of 14 - 20 years of relevant experience in the Asset Management industry.

- A postgraduate degree in Management or Finance from a premier institute is highly preferred.
