Operations Apprentice - India

The Apprenticeship Programme, offered over a duration of 12 or 24 months, is designed to provide participants with meaningful responsibilities and valuable hands-on experience from the outset. 
You wont just observe how a global bank operates you'll help power it. In Technology and Operations, you sit at the heart of how we deliver for our clients each day. Youll work on live processes, support real transactions and help ensure our clients needs are met accurately, effectively, and safely.

Throughout the programme, youll:

•    Take ownership of meaningful assignments that impact real clients
  •    Build technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  •    Develop confidence working with data, systems and processes
  •    Learn how risk, controls and governance protect a global bank
  •    Strengthen your communication and stakeholder management skills
  •    Gain exposure to senior leaders and thought-leadership sessions

By the end of the program, youll understand how a global bank runs behind the scenes and the role you can play in shaping its future. 

What youll be doing

As an Operations Apprentice, youll support the teams that keep our banking engine running smoothly. Youll:

•    Support day-to-day processing activities to ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time
  •    Help monitor operational performance and customer service standards
  •    Assist in resolving client queries and improving service outcomes
  •    Track key metrics and maintain data to support reporting and decision-making
  •    Support managers in overseeing transactions and meeting payment obligations
  •    Learn how operational risk and controls work and help ensure we meet regulatory and policy requirements
  •    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within your team.

Youll gain first-hand experience of how strong operations enable global deals, protect clients, and maintain trust. 

What were looking for

We're looking for curious, driven individuals who want to learn how global banking works in practice. 

• Must be an Indian Citizen.
• Eligibility: Fresh college graduates (2023-2026 pass-outs) with a full-time 3-year degree such as B.Com, BBA, BBM, BA, BMS, or equivalent. Candidates with engineering, technical, or postgraduate qualifications are not eligible.
• Have the legal right to work in India
• Graduation must have been completed from a college/institute/university within India.
• Integrated degrees with LLB (dual graduation degrees) will not be considered.
• Degrees in fields such as Education (B.Ed.), Law, and Medical Science are not eligible for this program.
• Must be a fresher with no prior PF (Provident Fund), UAN, or ESIC registration/history.
• Candidates who have already been contracted as apprentices with another organization earlier through the NATS/NAPS are not eligible.
• Have strong academic performance and be actively involved beyond the classroom
• Be confident working with data and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Be detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
