Become a Security Engineering Subject Matter Expert
The Senior Security Engineer connects security research advancements with global engineering efforts, providing expert support during investigations and critical incidents. This role involves delivering exceptional client-facing services while serving as a reliable technical resource for advanced security challenges and events.
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Investigating complex cyber-attacks to uncover adversary behaviors and support customer defenses.
- Designing and monitoring production-grade code for new detection methodologies across large-scale telemetry.
- Triaging high-severity incidents, presenting investigation findings, and providing advanced technical support to customers.
- Analyzing AI-generated detections and partnering with researchers to continuously refine their effectiveness.
- Applying actionable Threat Intelligence to identify tactical shifts and proactively enhance defensive coverage.
- Working closely with globally dispersed teams to ensure seamless operational continuity and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of cybersecurity experience spanning security engineering, cloud-native architectures, XDR platforms, and SOC environments.
- Combine investigative intuition with engineering rigor to independently correlate diverse telemetry and disrupt threat actors.
- Write robust code (e.g., Python) to build, monitor, and maintain modern, scalable security data pipelines.
- Partner with the Research team to translate threat intelligence into automated defenses using advanced scripting and APIs
- Have a deep understanding of attacker TTPs, MITRE ATTCK, network protocols, and OS internals.
- Leverage AI and machine learning to identify anomalies, mitigate active threats, and streamline complex detection workflows.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor who can clearly explain AI-driven insights and implement customer-specific security solutions.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating effectively with global teams to deliver measurable security outcomes.
