Sr. Officer / Executive - HVAC || Pharma || Ahmedabad

Role & responsibilities

• Design & Engineering: -

• Perform comprehensive heat load calculations, duct sizing, and piping design using specialized HVAC engineering software.
• Conceptualize and design centralized air conditioning, ventilation, and air handling systems specific to Cleanrooms, Oral Solid Dosage (OSD), and Sterile Parenteral blocks.
• Establish engineering parameters for Air Handling Units (AHUs), Chilled Water Systems, Fan Coil Units (FCUs), and dehumidifiers.
• Prepare and update technical drawings, including area classification maps, pressure gradient profiles, and airflow zoning diagrams.
• Operation, Maintenance & Troubleshooting: -

• Supervise daily operations of the Building Management System (BMS) to monitor continuous differential pressure, temperature, and humidity limits.
• Lead routine and preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC utilities, VRV systems, heat pumps, and chillers to minimize unexpected production downtime.
• Swiftly troubleshoot equipment faults and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Validation & Regulatory Compliance: -

• Author, review, and execute HVAC qualification documents, including Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), and Operational Qualification (OQ).
• Coordinate directly with the Quality Assurance (QA) department to conduct periodic cleanroom area validations (particle counts, recovery tests, and smoke studies).
• Author and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and change control records in alignment with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Project Control & Vendor Coordination: -

• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents, and cost estimates for new facility expansions or upgrades.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets while coordinating with external consultants, contractors, and validation agencies.
