Sr. Design Executive

Responsibilities:

• Progress sales inquiries and establish customer requirements in conjunction with the sales team.
• Support sales in designing solutions that meet customer specifications while being technically sound and commercially viable.
• Assess any risk factors that may affect the design.
• Follow up with the sales and operations team for various inputs to release the order on time.
• Interact with the operations team to ensure all issues related to design specifications at the site are resolved
• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and production drawings based on approved project requirements.
• Release production documents and drawings within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, system details, and quality requirements.
• Incorporate revisions and maintain proper document and drawing version control.
• Support design optimization, standardization, and continuous process improvements.
• Prepare quotations, BOQs, and cost estimates for inquiries raised by the sales team.
• Prepare quotations and revisions using different software: KLAS/Excel

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is an advantage.
• Exposure to additional design software such as SketchUp/Revit
• Knowledge of facade systems, aluminum/timber windows and doors, glazing, hardware, and fabrication processes.
• Effective communication in and across teams to build relationships with the sales, operations, and production teams.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings.
• 2 years (graduate) / 4 years (diploma) experience in the facade/window industry
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and effective time management.
