Role Description The Special Education Teacher at Sounderic will provide individualized online instruction and support to learners with diverse learning needs and disabilities. This part-time, remote role includes planning and delivering specialized lessons, adapting educational materials, and collaborating with therapists and families to align instruction with each learner's goals. The teacher will assess student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies based on data and feedback. Additional responsibilities include maintaining clear communication with caregivers, participating in virtual team meetings, and ensuring that all instructional practices reflect inclusive, student-centered approaches.
Qualifications

• Special Education and Disabilities: Candidates should possess skills and experience in Special Education and working with individuals with disabilities.
• Teaching and Grade-Level Expertise: Candidates should possess teaching skills and relevant experience with Middle School learners or similar age groups.
• Communication Skills: Candidates should possess strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional Experience: Prior experience in online or hybrid teaching environments and working with diverse learners is beneficial.
• Technical Readiness: Ability to use digital tools and online platforms for remote instruction, documentation, and communication.
