- Lead purchasing strategy for new products and customer projects, developing suppliers in parallel with product development.
- Manage supplier development of new parts through launch and stabilization (responsible for new parts until PPAP + 3 months).

- Apply deep technical knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, tooling, heat treatment, grinding, lapping, casting) to enable supplier discussions, troubleshooting and capability development.
- Conduct periodic product and process analyses to identify cost and value improvement opportunities and embed continuous improvement into supplier relationships.
- Analyze market trends, commodity price drivers and supplier capabilities to anticipate risks and unlock sourcing opportunities that support profitable growth.
