Gnani.ai builds voice AI for India. We make our own speech models, language models (the Evon family), and agentic AI platforms that work across [40+] Indian languages. Banks, insurers, and telecom companies use our AI agents to handle millions of customer conversations. In August 2026, we launched Gnani Artha, India's sovereign AI stack, and open-sourced Evon 3.3.

About the role

You will be a technical face of Gnani's full stack: speech models, language models, agentic AI platforms, and the infrastructure they run on. You are a strong generalist who can learn fast and go deep where a deal needs it. You will design end-to-end solutions for customers, prove them with prototypes and POCs, and represent Gnani to customers, partners, and the industry.

This is a hands-on role. You build and connect things across the stack, then explain them.

What you will do

• Learn our full stack end to end: Prisma (ASR), Timbre (TTS), the Evon models, our Agentic AI platform, Plexus, and the Speech API. Be able to explain how the pieces fit and where each one shines.
• Design end-to-end solutions for enterprise deals: use case, agent design, integrations, data flows, deployment model, and security.
• Build prototypes and run POCs on real customer use cases, connecting our platforms to the customer's systems.
• Answer technical questions across the stack in customer meetings. Bring in the LLM, Speech, or Partnerships specialists when a question needs deeper expertise.
• Own the technical answers on deployment options: cloud, private cloud, on-prem. Work with DevOps on sizing and scaling.
• Handle security questionnaires, architecture reviews, and compliance questions (DPDP, RBI, IRDAI, TRAI), working with our DevOps, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Lead the technical side of proposals and RFPs.
• Speak at events and webinars. Write reference architectures, demos, and technical explainers.
• Bring customer and market insight back to the product, platform, and AI teams.
• Coach sales and delivery teams on how our stack works.

What we are looking for

• 5–8 years in tech, with at least 2 years in a customer-facing solutions, pre-sales, or consulting role.
• Strong software engineering base. You have built and shipped real systems, and you can still write code when a prototype needs it.
• Working knowledge of modern AI: how LLMs, speech models, and AI agents work, and how they behave in production. You do not need to be a researcher, but you must understand the stack.
• Comfortable with cloud architecture: Kubernetes, APIs, networking basics, scaling, and security fundamentals.
• Hands-on with enterprise integrations: REST APIs, webhooks, event streaming, connecting to CRMs or core systems.
• Fast learner. You pick up new parts of a stack quickly and go deep when a deal needs it.
• Can explain hard ideas simply, to technical and non-technical people.
• Calm and clear when customers push back or ask hard questions.
• Comfortable on stage, or keen to get there.

Good to have

• Experience with voice AI, contact centre tech, or telephony (SIP, WebRTC, CCaaS).
• Experience with BFSI, insurance, or telecom customers.
• Exposure to on-prem or regulated deployments and data residency.
• Talks, blogs, demos, or open-source work you have published.
