Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester with strong expertise in manual testing and basic automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications, including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Conduct automation testing using Selenium and Playwright.
• Prepare, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Identify, document, track, and report bugs using bug-tracking tools.
• Perform UI, usability, and cross-browser compatibility testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Conduct retesting and regression testing after bug fixes.
• Ensure application quality, stability, and compliance with business requirements.
• Maintain clear documentation of test results, defects, and testing progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Working experience with Selenium and Playwright for automation testing.
• Good understanding of test case design, defect life cycle, and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira or similar bug-tracking platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing web-based applications and APIs.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with browser developer tools and cross-browser testing.
