Software Development Engineer

We are looking for SW engineers who wish to be a part of developing and evolving the current and next generation of routers that form the core of anything internet. These routers are at the heart of Nokias IP product offerings, from data centers (including AI fabrics) to providing strong, resilient low latency and dependable IP backhaul for service providers and mission critical networks. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing high-performance data path solutions on both custom and merchant silicon. You will be responsible for writing efficient and modular code that is well-tested and robust, ensuring that it meets the high standards required for the most critical networks. Your role will involve working on advanced packet forwarding techniques in IP, MPLS, Segment Routing, VxLANs. You will also contribute into Traffic Management technologies - QoS (Policers, Schedulers, Shapers), ACLs, TCAM Management, and Packet Extractions to CPU. DCN2026.
