Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Social Media Marketing Specialist. The specialist will plan, execute, and optimize social media campaigns across major platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and scheduling social media content, managing posts and interactions, monitoring analytics, and adjusting strategies based on performance data. The role also involves collaborating with designers and marketing team members to align social media efforts with broader digital marketing initiatives, maintaining consistent brand messaging, and staying current with platform trends and best practices.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to plan and implement effective online campaigns.
• Proficiency in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to develop engaging, brand-aligned posts and creatives.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, LinkedIn analytics) to track and report on performance.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in an agency or creative environment is an advantage.
• Relevant coursework or a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is beneficial.
