About The Urban Chief:

The Urban Chief is a funnel-first performance marketing agency working with brands across social media, content, paid media, SEO, lead generation and growth marketing.

We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive who can take ownership of client accounts from planning to publishing, engagement and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand each client's business, audience, goals, competitors and platform requirements.
• Plan monthly social media themes and content calendars.
• Create content ideas for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
• Write or coordinate captions, hooks, carousel content and reel concepts.
• Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors for creative execution.
• Review creatives and videos before they are shared with clients or published.
• Manage client feedback and ensure required changes are completed on time.
• Schedule and publish posts according to the approved content calendar.
• Perform post-publishing checks for copy, tags, links, formatting and overall hygiene.
• Execute engagement activities around published content.
• Manage reposting, comments and other amplification activities where required.
• Stay updated with platform trends, content formats and algorithm changes.
• Track account performance weekly and monthly.
• Analyse reach, engagement, followers, website actions and other relevant KPIs.
• Identify what is working, what is not and recommend improvements.
• Maintain account trackers, reports and internal task updates.
• Ensure content is planned and scheduled in advance rather than managed at the last minute.
• Manage multiple client accounts while maintaining quality and deadlines.
  

What We're Looking For:

• 0.6 - 1 years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Good understanding of reels, carousels, static posts and social media content formats.
• Ability to think from both a content and business objective perspective.
• Strong written communication and content judgment.
• Comfortable working with multiple brands and industries.
• Good coordination and client communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership.
• Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
• Awareness of current social media trends and platform changes.
