Social Media Intern who wants to learn, experiment, and grow in the world of digital marketing and content creation.
Role Overview
As a Social Media Intern at VOXA Design Studio, you will work closely with our creative and marketing team to plan, create, and manage social media content for VOXA and its clients. You will also assist with client communication, coordination, and servicing to ensure smooth execution of social media activities and campaigns.
This role offers hands-on exposure to content strategy, social media trends, client management, campaign execution, and brand communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
Assist in managing social media accounts across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
Plan and maintain social media content calendars.
Schedule and publish posts, reels, stories, and other content formats.
Ensure consistent brand communication and timely content delivery.
2. Content Creation & Ideation
Research trending topics, audio, formats, memes, and social media trends.
Brainstorm creative ideas for reels, carousels, stories, and static posts.
Write engaging captions, hooks, and calls to action.
Assist in developing content strategies tailored to different brands and target audiences.
3. Creative Coordination
Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and the marketing team to execute content ideas.
Assist in creating basic social media creatives using Canva or similar tools.
Develop creative briefs and content references for designers and editors.
Ensure that content aligns with the brand's visual identity and communication style.
4. Research & Performance Analysis
Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Track key metrics such as reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth, and content performance.
Prepare basic performance reports and suggest improvements based on insights.
Identify opportunities to improve content quality, engagement, and audience growth.
5. Client Servicing & Communication
Serve as a coordination point between clients and the internal creative team for assigned projects.
Communicate with clients professionally to understand their requirements, feedback, and content preferences.
Follow up with clients for content approvals, feedback, information, and other deliverables.
Coordinate with designers, video editors, and marketing team members to ensure timely execution of client requirements.
Assist in preparing client presentations, content calendars, campaign updates, and performance reports.
Keep clients informed about project progress, upcoming content, and pending approvals.
Maintain clear records of client feedback, action items, and project timelines.
Ensure client requirements are communicated accurately to the internal team and delivered within agreed timelines.
Help maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
6. Campaign & Account Support
Assist in executing social media campaigns for VOXA's clients.
Research client industries, audiences, and competitors.
Support promotional campaigns, brand launches, and digital marketing initiatives.
Help manage multiple client accounts and ensure content deliverables are completed on schedule.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, and other major social media platforms.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
A creative mindset with an interest in content creation, digital marketing, branding, and storytelling.
Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or similar creative tools is an advantage.
Familiarity with social media trends, reels, and short-form video content.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
A professional approach to client communication and coordination.
Willingness to learn, experiment, and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Experience managing a personal or professional social media account.
Basic video editing skills.
