About Roads You Travel

Roads You Travel is looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Manager to take ownership of our social media presence.

We're looking for someone who understands content, trends, storytelling and can confidently get in front of the camera to create engaging talking-head, travel and on-ground content.

This is not a purely desk-based social media role. You'll be involved in ideation, shooting, content creation, posting and day-to-day social media management.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day social media presence of Roads You Travel across Instagram, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
• Develop monthly content calendars based on brand goals, trends and audience interests.
• Ideate and create Reels, talking-head videos, travel content, stories, carousels and static content.
• Shoot video content independently, including talking-head videos, on-location content, travel experiences and behind-the-scenes content.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera and presenting content in a natural and engaging manner.
• Write captions, hooks, scripts and CTAs for social media content.
• Stay updated with Instagram trends, viral formats, audio trends and emerging content styles.
• Coordinate with the design/video team wherever required for editing and creative execution.
• Handle content posting, scheduling and basic community management.
• Monitor social media performance and provide regular insights and recommendations.
• Track metrics such as reach, engagement, views, follower growth and content performance.
• Continuously experiment with new content formats and ideas to improve organic growth.
• Ensure consistency in the brand's tone, visual identity and overall social media presence.

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in social media management and/or content creation.
• Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form video content.
• Someone who is comfortable in front of the camera and can confidently shoot talking-head videos.
• Good communication, storytelling and copywriting skills.
• Strong understanding of current social media trends and content formats.
• Basic understanding of content shooting, framing, lighting and audio.
• Ability to independently take an idea from concept → script → shoot → publish.
• Creative, proactive and willing to experiment.
• Basic knowledge of tools such as Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar tools is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working from our Faridabad office.

• You love to travel and naturally consume travel content.
• You have experience creating travel, hospitality, tourism or lifestyle content.
• You enjoy being on camera and have a natural ability to engage an audience.
• You have your own Instagram page, content portfolio or experience creating Reels.
• You're the kind of person who is constantly saving places, planning trips and thinking, This would make a great Reel.
