Social Media Executive/ Content Creator

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Content Executive to manage and grow our EdTech brand's presence across Social Media. The ideal candidate should have strong content, copywriting and social media skills with an understanding of the education and digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage monthly social media content calendars aligned with marketing goals.
• Draft engaging posts, captions, creative copy and short-form video scripts.
• Act in videos related to education sector news, updates and product info.
• Manage content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
• Develop content around education, courses, student stories, careers, trends and brand initiatives.
• Coordinate with design and creative teams for social media assets.
• Ensure content follows brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Monitor social media performance and use insights to optimise content and engagement.
• Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates and audience behaviour.
• Collaborate with marketing and strategy teams to ensure consistent messaging and timely campaign execution.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in social media/content, preferably in an agency or EdTech environment.
• Strong copywriting, content creation and short-form scriptwriting skills.
• Good understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and performance metrics.
• Strong communication, creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies or a related field, or equivalent experience.
