About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Long-Form & Short-Form Video Content Writer who can develop high-quality, engaging, and research-driven content for multiple brands.

The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of professional experience in video content writing and scriptwriting, with a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to write both short-form content such as Reels/Shorts and long-form content such as YouTube videos, educational videos, explainers, interviews, and other extended video formats.

This role requires someone who understands that effective video content is not simply about writing words. It is about capturing attention, building curiosity, maintaining retention, developing a narrative, communicating information clearly, and driving the viewer toward a desired action.

The candidate should be capable of taking a topic or brief and independently developing it from research and ideation through to a complete, production-ready script.

This is a strictly on-site role with 6 working days per week. Work from home is not available.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of proven professional experience in video content writing, scriptwriting, or social media content writing with strong video scripting experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both long-form and short-form video scripts.
• Exceptional scriptwriting and storytelling skills.
• Proven ability to write detailed, structured, research-driven long-form scripts.
• Strong understanding of short-form content and the importance of immediate audience retention.
• Excellent command of written English, grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
• Strong ability to develop compelling hooks and openings.
• Deep understanding of storytelling, narrative structure, pacing, and audience psychology.
• Ability to simplify complex topics without compromising accuracy or depth.
• Strong research and fact-checking capabilities.
• Ability to write for multiple brands with different tones, audiences, and objectives.
• Ability to independently develop content ideas and transform them into complete scripts.
• Strong understanding of YouTube and short-form video content formats.
• Ability to write content designed around watch time, retention, engagement, and audience action.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a high standard of content quality.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Ability to accept feedback and improve scripts through multiple revisions.
• Experience writing content that has generated strong views, watch time, engagement, or audience retention will be an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Must be willing to work closely with the video production and social media teams.

Compensation

40,000 – 50,000 per month, depending on experience, writing ability, portfolio, and relevant expertise.
