Social Media Content Creator & Presenter

GetDigiCompanion is an early-stage B2B SaaS platform empowering local Indian retail merchants (Brands, Shops, boutiques, Individual professionals) to take their businesses online in minutes. We provide local shops with their own AI-powered website, marketplace syncing, and an automated social media engine. We are launching an aggressive digital marketing campaign across Tamil Nadu and need a creative powerhouse to be the face and voice of our social media channels.

We are looking for a highly energetic Social Media Content Creator & Presenter who will write, shoot, edit, and post short-form video content directly to the GetDigiCompanion social media channels.

You will not just be sitting behind a computer. You are the digital face of our brand. Your daily job is to write engaging scripts targeting local shop owners, set up your camera, record yourself pitching or performing relatable business skits, edit the footage for maximum retention, and hit publish on Instagram and YouTube Shorts.

• Ideate & Script: Write 30-to-45-second video scripts that highlight the pain points of local merchants (e.g., messy ledger books, missed WhatsApp orders) and present GetDigiCompanion as the solution.
• Shoot & Present: Confidently record yourself (and potentially local actors/friends) performing these scripts. You will execute creative formats, including 2-character peer skits, direct-to-camera educational tips, and feature breakdowns.
• Edit for Retention: Edit your own raw footage using CapCut or similar tools. Add dynamic Tanglish captions, sound effects, AI backgrounds, and visual hooks to ensure viewers don't scroll past the first 3 seconds.
• Channel Management: Post the final Reels/Shorts to our official Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube channels. Write the captions, research relevant local hashtags, and reply to comments from prospective merchants.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor view counts, watch-time, and shares. Figure out which video hooks work best for the Tamil Nadu B2B audience and double down on those formats.
  

• Camera Confidence: You must be incredibly comfortable and energetic in front of a smartphone camera. You know how to talk to a lens like you are talking to a friend.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience running a social media page, YouTube channel, or creating content for brands.
• Language Skills: Fluent in conversational Tamil (Tanglish) and English. You must know how to deliver a punchline or business pitch in authentic local slang that a Karur shop owner would relate to.
• Technical Setup: Must have a modern smartphone with a high-quality camera, basic lighting (like a ring light), and a quiet place to record audio.
• Editing Skills: Proficient in mobile/desktop editing (CapCut) to add the final polish to your videos.
  

• Be the Face of a Tech Startup: You will be the primary digital ambassador for a platform that is digitizing local commerce across India.
• Creative Freedom: We don't want boring corporate videos. If a funny skit or a trending meme format gets views and app sign-ups, you have the total freedom to create it.
• Remote Autonomy: Manage your own shoot schedule, editing time, and posting calendar from the comfort of your own home setup.
