Site Supervisor - Renovation & construction

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose

To supervise and monitor day-to-day civil maintenance, repair and renovation activities at the site, ensuring quality workmanship, timely completion and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise daily civil maintenance and repair activities at the site.
2. Monitor civil works such as plastering, painting, masonry, tiling, waterproofing and carpentry.
3. Coordinate with contractors, vendors and site technicians for execution of work.
4. Ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
5. Conduct regular site inspections and identify civil defects requiring rectification.
6. Monitor manpower deployment and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
7. Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
8. Ensure proper utilization of materials and maintain inventory records.
9. Coordinate with clients and internal teams for work approvals and execution.
10. Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
11. Monitor preventive and corrective civil maintenance activities.
12. Ensure timely closure of complaints and work orders.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of civil construction and maintenance activities.
• Understanding of drawings, measurements and BOQ.
• Knowledge of finishing works, waterproofing, painting and masonry.
• Contractor and manpower management.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.

Candidate Profile

• 25 years of relevant experience in Civil Maintenance / Construction / Facility Management.
• Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Experience in commercial or residential property management will be an added advantage.
• Ability to independently handle site execution and supervision
