Site Head - Plant Operations - Chemical

Chief Manufacturing Officer

Mandate:

Run site manufacturing in step with business and marketing needs, and build a team that delivers business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own plant operations: production and maintenance

- Drive plant revamps and upgrades aligned to business needs

- Ensure EHS compliance and monitor safety and environmental impact

- Deliver manufacturing cost within budget

- Embed world-class manufacturing practices for quality and process improvement

- Liaise with local government authorities at the apex level

- Build team competencies; retain high performers; own critical roles and succession planning at unit level

Candidate Profile:

- BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

- 18 - 25 years in large integrated process chemical plants

- Preferred background: specialty chemicals, fine chemicals, performance materials

- Mastery in process and plant design, engineering and utilities, maintenance and TPM

- Practical exposure to Kaizen, Value Engineering, SPC and Six Sigma

- Strong OHS/EHS grounding; sound communication and presentation skills
