Site camera monitoring officer

Role Description The Site Camera Monitoring Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhinagar. This position is responsible for continuously monitoring CCTV and other surveillance systems to ensure site safety, security, and compliance with operational protocols. The officer reviews live feeds and recorded footage to identify suspicious activities, safety hazards, or unauthorized access, and promptly communicates findings to security and site management. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate incident logs, generating basic reports, and escalating issues according to established procedures. The role also involves coordinating with security personnel during emergencies, performing routine checks on camera functionality, and supporting improvements to monitoring practices in line with company standards.

Qualifications

• Strong observational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to quickly identify irregular or unsafe activities on camera feeds.
• Basic technical proficiency in operating CCTV systems, video management software, and related monitoring equipment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to document incidents and coordinate effectively with security and operations teams.
• Understanding of safety, security, and basic emergency response procedures in industrial or mining environments.
• Ability to remain alert during extended monitoring periods, manage multiple camera views, and work effectively in shift-based schedules.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and adherence to confidentiality and company policies.
• Previous experience in security monitoring, control room operations, or industrial site surveillance is preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security, safety, or surveillance systems is an advantage.
