Sheet Metal Production Engineer

We are looking for a Sheet Metal Production Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing and furniture manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily production activities, achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, and improving production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily sheet metal production activities.
• Handle production processes such as cutting, bending, punching, and welding.
• Monitor CNC laser cutting, CNC punching, and press brake operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and production teams.
• Monitor manpower, machine utilization, and raw material consumption.
• Reduce rejection, rework, material wastage, and machine downtime.
• Maintain daily production reports and other relevant records.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and 5S practices.

Required Skills

• Experience in sheet metal and furniture manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of CNC laser cutting, CNC punching, and press brake machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and MS Excel.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
