Service Engineer (Mechanical) For Ahmedabad (Consarc)

For Experience person:- The candidates should be Degree holder or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 1-5 years practical experience in the installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of vacuum equipment and vacuum furnace systems will be an added advantage.

• Installation, assembly, alignment, and commissioning of vacuum furnace and related mechanical systems.
• Maintenance and repair of vacuum equipment, furnace components, and associated mechanical assemblies.
• Perform and supervise brazing, insulation work, leak testing, and mechanical troubleshooting activities.
• Support metal melting and heat treatment operations during installation, startup, and service activities.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to site teams during project execution.
• Ensure quality, safety, and adherence to standard procedures during all field activities.
• Coordinate with customers, service engineers, and project teams to achieve timely project completion.

Knowledge/Experience in vacuum systems, industrial furnaces,

heat treatment equipment, or related process industries is preferred.

• Ready for hands-on mechanical work.
• Knowledge/ Capability of brazing, insulation, assembly and mechanical maintenance.
• Willingness to travel for site job across India at customer site.
• Ability to lead and guide technicians and contractors.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge/Experience with vacuum furnaces, metal melting furnaces, or vacuum pumps.
• Understanding of vacuum technology, leak detection, and furnace maintenance.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

The job involves extensive travelling in India and abroad.

The candidate must be a native of Ahmedabad and surrounding area.
