SEO & AEO Executive
App Mechanic is a full-service development agency specializing in Web, Mobile, and Game Development. We work with clients across multiple industries and geographies, delivering scalable, high-quality digital solutions.
We are looking for a motivated SEO & AEO Executive with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to improve our organic search visibility, strengthen website rankings, and optimize our digital presence for AI-powered search platforms.
This is a remote, full-time role, ideal for someone with a solid foundation in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) who is eager to work on Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and help brands get discovered across traditional search engines and AI-driven platforms.
What You'll Do
- Plan and execute SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, website visibility, and traffic
- Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent analysis
- Implement on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO improvements
- Optimize website pages, blogs, headings, metadata, internal links, and content structure
- Work on AEO strategies to improve the chances of content being referenced in AI-generated answers
- Optimize content for AI-powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity
- Structure content using FAQs, clear answers, schema markup, and other relevant techniques to improve discoverability
- Assist with implementing structured data and schema markup, including Organization, Article, FAQ, and other relevant types
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and search visibility using Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Research SEO and AEO trends, search algorithm updates, and emerging AI search optimization techniques
- Collaborate with developers and content writers to implement SEO and AEO improvements
- Track performance, prepare reports, and recommend actionable improvements
Who We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in SEO, with an understanding of AEO
- Good understanding of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, technical SEO, and keyword research
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms
- Understanding of search intent, content optimization, internal linking, and link-building strategies
- Basic knowledge of structured data, schema markup, and content optimization for AI-powered search
- Familiarity with how AI search platforms discover, interpret, and reference online content
- Good written English and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a results-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team
- Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus
- Experience tracking brand visibility across AI search platforms is a plus
