Role Description The Senior Wealth Manager / Chief Manager / AVP role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of clients by providing holistic wealth management advice, including financial planning, investment strategy, risk assessment, and insurance solutions. The individual will design and implement customized investment and protection plans, monitor portfolio performance, and rebalance allocations in line with market conditions and client objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client meetings, reviewing research insights, identifying new business opportunities, ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are met, and coordinating with internal product, research, and operations teams to deliver seamless service. The role also requires mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic initiatives to enhance client experience and business growth.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Financial Planning and client advisory to design comprehensive, goal-based strategies.
• Expertise in Investment Management and Investments for constructing and monitoring diversified portfolios.
• Solid understanding of Finance, including capital markets, products, and risk-return dynamics.
• Knowledge of Insurance solutions across life, health, and general insurance to support protection planning.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFP, CFA, NISM, or equivalent are preferred.
• Proven experience in wealth management or private banking, with a track record of managing HNI and institutional clients.
• Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
• High level of integrity, adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements, and ability to work in a performance-driven environment.
