Senior User Experience Architect

Role Description The Senior User Experience Architect is a full-time remote role responsible for designing intuitive, high-impact experiences across Clarity Tax Tech's enterprise web applications. This role leads UX discovery and delivery, including mapping complex tax workflows into clear user journeys, defining information architecture, and creating wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models. Day-to-day activities include planning and conducting user research with tax professionals, synthesizing findings into personas and requirements, and collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts. The Senior UX Architect will establish UX standards and design systems, mentor teammates on best practices, and ensure accessibility and consistency across the platform. This position contributes to product strategy by advocating for user-centered design decisions that support usability, adoption, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Human Computer Interaction and Design Thinking, with the ability to translate complex domain requirements into usable workflows.
• Demonstrated expertise in User Research and User Experience (UX), including planning studies, analyzing insights, and applying findings to product decisions.
• Proficiency in Visual Design and interaction design, using modern design tools to produce clear wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
• Experience designing for data-heavy, enterprise, or B2B SaaS products; familiarity with tax, finance, or compliance domains is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team, communicating clearly with product, engineering, and subject matter experts.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design, and design systems; experience with usability testing and iterative improvement.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in HCI, Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
