Senior UI Engineer UI/UX

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Typically 6-10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on React.js development for enterprise applications; equivalent demonstrated experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated delivery of frontend features and API integrations from business discovery and design through production release.
• Examples of shipped interfaces or case studies that show personal ownership of UX decisions, implementation and improvements based on user feedback; anonymised examples are welcome.
• Experience with AI-enabled products or stateful business workflow automation, including human review, asynchronous processing and production support.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in banking or another regulated industry is preferred.

Skills and Experience

Core Technical Expertise

• Frontend: React.js, hooks, context and state management; strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS; accessible forms, reusable components and responsive layouts.
• Product and UX: User journey mapping, wireframes, interaction and visual design, prototyping, design systems and usability testing; Figma or equivalent tools.
• Experience APIs: RESTful API integration, BFF concepts, schemas, validation, authentication, pagination and resilient client-side error handling; ability to agree API contracts with backend engineers.
