Senior Specialist - Accounts Payable

The Senior Specialist - AP will be a key member of Bristlecone India Limiteds Finance & Accounting department, overseeing the end-to-end processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of invoice processing, tax compliance, and payment methods.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Process and validate vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval.
• Manage employee expense reimbursements in accordance with policy.
• Maintain and reconcile AP sub-ledger and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and execute weekly and monthly payment runs (ACH, wire, checks).
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP.
• Monitor and improve AP workflow efficiency and internal controls.
• Prepare standard AP reports and ad-hoc analyses for management.
