Senior Sourcing Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist with strong experience in cotton bed sheets and home textiles for a project focused on sourcing and evaluating large-scale manufacturers in India.

By the end of the project, we expect:

• 4–5 strong commercial offers from qualified manufacturers
• A clear comparison and recommendation of the best suppliers
• Support in negotiations and placing the first order with the selected vendor

What you'll do

• Source and evaluate manufacturers of cotton bed sheets and bedding products
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and lead times
• Assess suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity, certifications, and reliability
• Manage samples, quotations, and supplier evaluation
• Work with factories on fabric specification, packaging, and cost optimization
• Support the team through final supplier selection and first order placement

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of hands-on sourcing experience in India specifically with cotton bed sheets, bedding, or closely related home textile products
• Experience working directly with large-scale manufacturers (US$50M+ annual turnover)
• Strong knowledge of the Indian home textile manufacturing market
• Good understanding of cotton quality, fabric construction, weaving, finishing, and textile production
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• English proficiency

Nice to have

• Existing network of large home textile manufacturers in India
• Experience sourcing for the US or European markets
• Knowledge of textile certifications, quality inspections, and factory audits
