Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work with the clients engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and evolve cloud-native procurement applications on SAP BTP using SAP CAP Java, SAPUI5/Fiori, and modern AI-assisted development practices. You will collaborate across a globally distributed team to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that power procurement for some of the world's largest enterprises.

1. SAP BTP & Cloud-Native Development

• SAP BTP architecture and core services
• Cloud Foundry / Kyma runtime deployment and operations
• SAP Identity Authentication (IAS) and Authorization (IPS)
• Destination, Connectivity, XSUAA, and HANA Cloud services
• SAP Integration Suite and event-driven integration patterns
• CI/CD and DevOps on BTP
• Monitoring, logging, tracing, and application security
• Cloud-native design principles and 12-factor applications

1. CAP Java Core Development

• Strong Java / Spring Boot fundamentals
• SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
• CDS modeling and service definitions
• OData V4 and REST API design
• CAP Java event handlers and service implementations
• Custom actions / functions
• Draft handling, validations, determinations, and transactions
• Persistence with SAP HANA Cloud
• Authorization and role-based access
• External service consumption and integrations
• Messaging / events and asynchronous processing
• CAP testing and mocking strategies
