Senior SAT English Trainer

Role Description The Senior SAT English Trainer will design and deliver high-quality online lessons focused on SAT Reading and Writing, including grammar, vocabulary, critical reading, and evidence-based writing. This contract, remote role involves creating lesson plans, practice questions, mock tests, and learning materials aligned with current SAT patterns and best practices. The trainer will assess student performance, provide detailed feedback on assignments and practice tests, and conduct doubt-clearing and strategy sessions to improve test-taking skills. The role also includes mentoring students on study planning, collaborating with academic coordinators to refine curriculum, and maintaining accurate records of student progress and outcomes.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SAT English, including Reading and Writing modules, test patterns, scoring, and strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching or training for standardized tests (SAT preferred; ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, AP English experience is an advantage).
• Excellent command of English language, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and analytical writing.
• Proficiency in designing lesson plans, practice materials, and assessments for online delivery.
• Comfort with remote teaching tools, learning management systems, and digital collaboration platforms.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly, adapt teaching methods to diverse learners, and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a student-centered approach aligned with mentoring and guidance.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree or teaching certification is a plus.
• Prior experience working with high school students preparing for international university admissions is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate students in different time zones.
