Senior SAP Technical Consultant

We are looking for SAP Technical Consultants to build, run, and support S/4HANA and SAP HANA landscapes. This role is part of a 10-member, self-contained SAP pod that can advise on, direct, manage, and deliver SAP transformation programs end-to-end: ECC-to-S/4HANA migration (system conversion, new implementation, and selective data transition), RISE with SAP, SAP HANA database migration and operations, basis and technical upgrades, ABAP and Fiori development, and SAP application management. There are two positions: an ABAP and Fiori developer and a Basis and HANA administrator. The pod uses AI to speed up transformation work: documenting legacy ABAP, analyzing and remediating custom code, and generating and running test scripts, with consultants reviewing and approving every change.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

ABAP and Fiori position:

• Design, develop, and support RICEFW objects: reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Work extensively with ABAP/ABAP OO, ALV, DDIC, BAdIs and the Enhancement Framework, Adobe Forms, IDocs, RFC, BAPIs, OData and web services.
• Develop CDS views and AMDP, and optimize code for SAP HANA.
• Build and enhance Fiori apps (Fiori Elements, UI5) and configure Fiori Launchpad content.
• Remediate custom code for ECC-to-S/4HANA migrations using ATC findings and AI-proposed fixes, under senior review.
• Use AI coding assistants to write, explain, document, and test code, and check AI output carefully.

Basis and HANA position:

• Administer SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP HANA systems: monitoring, performance, backups, and housekeeping.
• Perform installations, system copies and refreshes, kernel and support-pack updates, and transports.
• Support SUM/DMO migration runs, mock conversions, and cutover activities.
• Manage users, roles and authorizations, SSO and certificates, and Fiori front-end server and gateway configuration.
• Support HANA system replication, high availability, and disaster-recovery tests.
• Support RISE with SAP and hyperscaler-hosted landscapes alongside SAP and the hosting provider.
• Both positions debug, find root causes, and fix production issues.
• Support SIT, UAT, and deployments, and follow technical and documentation standards.

Requirements:

• BE/BTech/MCA/MSc or equivalent.
• A hands-on technical consultant with strong fundamentals in their track (ABAP and Fiori, or Basis and HANA) who wants to grow through S/4HANA migration work and AI-augmented delivery.

Mandatory Skills:

• 4-8 years of SAP technical experience.
• ABAP position: strong ABAP and ABAP Objects, RICEFW, CDS Views, OData, and ABAP on HANA and Fiori/UI5 basics.
• Basis position: SAP Basis and SAP HANA administration, system copies, transports, upgrades, and monitoring.
• Exposure to S/4HANA or an S/4HANA migration project.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to use AI tools as part of daily work.

Nice to Have:

• ATC, SPAU/SPDD, and custom-code remediation (ABAP position).
• SUM/DMO migration experience (Basis position).
• Azure, AWS, or GCP SAP hosting (basis position).
• SAP PI/PO or Integration Suite.
• Awareness of SAP BTP.
• SAP certification in ABAP, HANA, or SAP technology (basis).
