Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with strong expertise in data visualization, dashboard development, and SQL. The ideal candidate should be capable of transforming business requirements into meaningful reports and interactive dashboards. Basic Python knowledge is an added advantage, and exposure to GCP Cloud is good to have.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extraction logic.
• Develop data models, establish relationships, and implement DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and integration using Power Query (M).
• Optimize report performance, refresh schedules, and dashboard usability.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and support existing Power BI solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to improve reporting processes.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Good proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and query optimization.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, star schema, and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and dashboard performance optimization.
• Experience connecting Power BI to databases, Excel files, and other data sources.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Exposure to GCP Cloud, preferably BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing.
• Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data sources.
