Senior PMO Analyst/Lead - Project Management

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior PMO Analyst / PMO Lead to drive governance, program tracking, financial oversight, executive reporting and cross-functional coordination across strategic business and technology programs.

The role will work closely with senior leadership, Program Managers, Portfolio teams, Finance and technology stakeholders to ensure effective program governance, accurate reporting, proactive risk management and timely execution of key deliverables.

The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with expertise in PMO operations, financial tracking, resource planning and executive-level communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive PMO governance across strategic programs and ensure adherence to established governance frameworks and reporting standards.

- Maintain program plans, milestone trackers, dashboards, RAID logs, action trackers and status reports.

- Monitor program timelines, deliverables, dependencies, milestones and overall execution health.

- Coordinate program governance meetings, operational reviews and stakeholder discussions.

- Track commitments and ensure timely closure of actions, decisions and outstanding deliverables.

- Standardise PMO processes, templates, reporting mechanisms and governance practices across programs.

- Consolidate, validate and analyse program data to provide accurate and actionable insights to senior leadership.

- Prepare executive-level presentations, operational review decks, management dashboards and program status reports.

- Partner with Portfolio Management and Finance teams to track program budgets, forecasts, actual expenditure and financial commitments.

- Monitor budget utilisation, identify financial variances and highlight potential cost risks.

- Identify, assess and monitor program risks, issues, dependencies and constraints.

- Maintain comprehensive RAID logs with clear ownership, mitigation plans and target dates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 7+ years of experience in PMO, Program Management, Portfolio Management or Project Management.

- Strong hands-on experience in PMO governance, program tracking and delivery oversight.

- Proven expertise in maintaining program plans, dashboards, RAID logs, milestone trackers and action trackers.

- Strong experience preparing executive reports, management presentations and operational review decks.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, including data analysis, reporting and dashboard preparation.

- Experience in budget management, financial tracking, forecasting and variance analysis.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualisation tools.

- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow or similar PMO platforms.

- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.

- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-PMOCP or equivalent.
