Senior Payroll Executive

Role Description:

We are looking for a Sr. Payroll Executive to handle end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, and tax management. You must have direct experience running payroll on Zoho Payroll / Keka / RazorPayX managing payroll for 100+ employees (and /or 50L+ monthly payout), and extensive knowledge of PF, ESIC, and Indian income tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Zoho Payroll Management: Configure salary structures, pay schedules, components, and automate deductions in Zoho Payroll on a monthly basis
• Review and manage attendance on Zoho People on daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Payroll Execution: Process monthly payroll calculations including, variable pay, and Full & Final (F&F) settlements as per client schedules
• Keep track of Loans/Salary advances given to employees.
• Maintain Salary sheets from multiple clients in their respective folders
• Add, remove employees from Zoho Payroll as and when required.
• PF & ESIC Compliance: Manage monthly calculations, ECR portal filings, and remittances for PF, ESIC, Professional Tax (PT), and LWF.
• Taxation (TDS): Compute TDS, verify investment proofs, evaluate Old vs. New Tax Regimes, and assist with Form 24Q and Form 16.
• Support: Resolve employee/HR Manager payroll/tax queries and generate monthly reconciliation reports.
• Track and report Attendance on the HR Platforms across clients

Key Requirements:

• Scale Experience: Proven experience handling 100+ employees OR a 50L+ monthly payroll budget.
• Mandatory Software: Hands-on experience with Zoho Payroll/Keka
• Statutory & Tax Knowledge: Strong expertise in PF, ESIC, PT, Section 192 (TDS), and Old/New Tax Regimes.
• Tools: Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), Google spreadsheets
