Senior Murex Test Analyst | 8-12 Years | Investment Banking

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Murex Test Analyst who can drive testing activities across the Murex ecosystem, ensuring quality delivery through robust test design, execution, defect analysis, and automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of capital markets products and demonstrate the ability to perform detailed root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute SIT, UAT, Regression, and End-to-End test scenarios

Prepare test cases from business and technical requirements

Perform defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Business Users

Support test strategy, estimation, planning, and risk assessment

Develop and maintain test data and automation scripts

Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation

Ensure complete test coverage and high-quality deliverables

Required Skills

Murex Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Murex MX.3
• Exposure to FO, MO, BO, Datamart, Reporting, and Batch modules
• Experience in Murex implementation or upgrade projects

Capital Markets Knowledge

• FX, FXD, EQD
• Bonds, Futures, FRAs
• CDS
• Interest Rate Derivatives & Options
• Inflation Products
• Trade Lifecycle Management

Technical Skills

• SQL
• Unix/Linux
• Shell Scripting
• XML
• MxML
• FixML

Testing & Automation

• SIT/UAT Testing
• Defect Management
• Quality Center (ALM)
• MxTest / Onyx
• Test Automation Experience

Preferred

• Experience in Investment Banking domain

• Ability to work in Agile delivery environments
