Senior Mechanical Engineer – Plant & Machinery (Infrastructure & Road Construction)

Location: Pan-India project sites — Phagwara (Punjab) / Bharatpur (Rajasthan) / Bengaluru (Karnataka) / Harda (MP) / Dhar (MP)

Experience: 5–6 years

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant and machinery deployed at project sites
• Monitor equipment performance, minimise downtime, and ensure optimal fleet availability
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs and MIS using computer-based systems
• Oversee stores management — spare parts inventory, procurement coordination, and stock reconciliation
• Coordinate with site engineering and project teams to align machinery deployment with project schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards at site

Candidate Profile

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in plant & machinery maintenance on road/infrastructure projects
• Mandatory: working knowledge of computers (MS Office/maintenance software) and stores management
• Prior experience with organisations such as Dilip Buildcon, PNC Infra, IRB Infraprojects, GR Infra, or Megha Engineering preferred
• Willingness to relocate/travel across project sites pan-India
