About the Role

This is an opportunity to solve some of the most important business problems at one of India's fastest-scaling consumer companies. As a Senior Manager – Business Strategy & Operations, you'll work directly on high-impact strategic initiatives that shape the future of Lenskart. You'll own critical workstreams, partner with senior leaders, and drive execution across multiple business functions. This role is designed for people who thrive in ambiguity, love solving complex problems, and want significantly more ownership than a traditional strategy role offers. Responsibilities

• Own high-impact strategic initiatives from problem definition to execution, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
• Partner closely with business leaders to identify growth opportunities, solve operational challenges, and improve business performance.
• Drive cross-functional projects involving Sales, Retail, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Customer Experience teams.
• Build business cases, perform deep analytical problem-solving, and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
• Leverage AI extensively for research, analysis, reporting, automation, and decision-making. Develop AI-powered workflows that improve productivity and eliminate manual processes wherever possible.
• Build dashboards, operating mechanisms, and review frameworks to track business performance and ensure execution excellence.
• Get hands-on with execution by working directly with business teams, stores, vendors, and stakeholders to understand problems firsthand and implement practical solutions.
• Present structured recommendations and updates to senior leadership through crisp communication and data-backed insights.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from an IIT (or another top-tier engineering institute) and/or an MBA from an IIM or another leading global business school.
• 2–5 years of experience in management consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Kearney, Strategy&, Oliver Wyman, etc.), investment banking, founder's office, CEO's office, business strategy, business operations, or high-growth startups.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities with experience handling complex, ambiguous business problems.
• Demonstrated ownership of high-impact projects with measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
• Strong proficiency in Excel/Sheets, SQL (preferred), data analysis, and business storytelling.
• Daily user of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, or similar) with the ability to build AI-assisted workflows, automations, or lightweight agents that improve business productivity.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas into clear recommendations.
• Founder, startup, or entrepreneurial experience will be considered a strong advantage.
