Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technology / Engineering Manager to lead engineering initiatives, technology delivery, and team execution within a dynamic and growing organization.

This role requires a leader who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, taking ownership across technology, delivery, people, and business priorities, and operating effectively without highly segmented responsibilities.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can combine strong technical understanding with people leadership, strategic thinking, and day-to-day execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams, providing technical direction, coaching, and performance leadership.
• Own end-to-end technology delivery across multiple projects, initiatives, and priorities.
• Translate business objectives into practical technology strategies, solutions, and execution plans.
• Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define priorities, manage expectations, and drive successful outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance on software architecture, application development, modernization, cloud, and emerging technologies.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining focus on timelines, quality, resources, and business priorities.
• Establish and improve engineering processes, development standards, delivery practices, and operational discipline.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions and provide hands-on guidance when required.
• Identify delivery risks, technical challenges, and resource constraints and proactively develop solutions.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, operations, business, and other functional teams to ensure effective execution.
• Help build scalable engineering practices and organizational capabilities as the company continues to grow.
• Take ownership of problems beyond a narrowly defined functional area and drive them through resolution.
• Support technology planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and prioritization.
• Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, reliability, and overall business value.
• Contribute to hiring, team development, succession planning, and building a high-performing engineering culture.
• Balance strategic technology leadership with the ability to get into the details when the situation requires it.

What We're Looking For

• Senior Manager-level experience leading engineering, technology, software development, or technology delivery teams.
• Experience working in a small to mid-sized organization, startup, scale-up, or entrepreneurial environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats and take ownership across technology, delivery, people, and business priorities.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to engage in architecture, engineering, and technology discussions.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects, workstreams, or competing priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate independently, make decisions, and drive initiatives with limited layers of management.
• Strong problem-solving and execution mindset.
• Experience building teams, processes, and engineering practices in a growing organization.
• Ability to move between strategic discussions and detailed execution when required.
