Senior Manager - Security Project Management

About the job:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of strategic cybersecurity initiatives.

The role will lead security transformation projects from business case development through implementation, testing, production deployment, and operational handover while ensuring alignment with business, regulatory, and security objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the complete lifecycle of cybersecurity implementation projects.

- Drive deployment of security technologies including IAM, PAM, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, DLP, DAM, WAF, CSPM, and Vulnerability Management solutions.

- Develop project plans, governance frameworks, budgets, milestones, risk registers, and status reporting.

- Coordinate with business, technology, security, audit, compliance, procurement, and external vendors.

- Track budgets, procurement activities, project risks, vendor deliverables, and implementation timelines.

- Lead UAT, governance reviews, change management, and production readiness activities.

- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, audit requirements, information security policies, and project governance standards.

- Drive process improvements, implementation efficiencies, and project delivery excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- BE/B. Tech/MCA/MSc in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

- 10 - 12 years of experience in cybersecurity project delivery, security operations, technology risk, or security implementation programs.

- Proven experience managing complex cybersecurity implementations within BFSI organizations.

- Strong understanding of security technologies, governance frameworks, vendor management, and regulatory compliance.

- Expertise in project planning, budgeting, stakeholder management, risk tracking, and PMO reporting.

- Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or equivalent.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
