Senior Manager (Release & Deployment)

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Release and Deployment, to join our Release and Deployment team. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of R& D releases and deployments, working across inbound and outbound release activities. You will report to the Vice President of Release and Deployment Management and collaborate closely with R& D, Technical Support, and Integration teams to drive successful and timely releases.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of release and deployment activities for R& D projects across inbound and outbound releases.
• Work closely with R& D, Technical Support, and Integration teams to define release scope, timelines, dependencies, and execution plans.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and potential challenges that may impact release timelines or quality.
• Establish clear tracking and communication of release status, risks, open issues, and action items across relevant stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure release readiness and successful deployment.
• Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders to resolve issues and keep releases on track.
• Provide clear and timely updates to leadership on release progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.

Requirements:

• B. Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Program Management, or Release Management, with experience managing inbound, outbound, or end-to-end release activities. Experience across both inbound and outbound releases is preferred.
• Previous R& D experience as an engineer, preferably in software development. Experience in an integration role may also be considered.
• Experience working with large-scale hardware and software systems. Experience with telecommunications systems is preferred.
• Experience working in customer-facing roles and collaborating with external or customer-facing teams.
• Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and cross-functional teams.

• Experience working with AI tools.
• Experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
• Experience managing releases in complex R& D or telecommunications environments.
