Job Overview

The Senior Manager R&D (Epoxy) will spearhead development of high-performance Epoxy systems. This role focuses on epoxy, PU, solutions with emphasis on mechanical strength, chemical resistance, aesthetics, and long-term durability. The position demands strong formulation expertise, leadership capability, and experience in delivering innovative Epoxy technologies to market. Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Innovation

• Lead R&D initiatives for:
• Epoxy systems
• Self-levelling underlayment
• Develop formulations meeting performance parameters such as abrasion resistance, adhesion, impact strength, slip resistance, chemical durability, and cost optimization.

Technical Leadership

• Manage laboratory activities including formulation, testing, benchmarking, and validation.
• Ensure compliance with IS, ASTM, EN standards for Epoxy systems.
• Provide technical leadership for plant trials, scale-up, and process optimization.

Project & Portfolio Management

• Manage multiple Epoxy R&D projects with clear timelines and milestones.
• Build and maintain a robust product pipeline aligned with market demand.
• Collaborate with production and QA/QC teams for commercialization.
• Lead cost optimization programs by improving formulations, optimizing BOMs, reducing conversion costs, and enabling competitive pricing for key market segments.

Market & Customer Support

• Support technical services for site inspections, failures analysis, and application improvements.
• Participate in mock-ups, demos, and customer trials.
• Conduct training for sales teams, applicators, and channel partners.

Sustainability & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
