Senior Manager - Project Management - Hydro Power

Job Description:

Qualifications:

- Degree: BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

- Experience: Proven experience in Project Management with exposure to the commercial conditions of contracts and technical specifications of equipment, preferably in the hydro power sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

- Preparation and management of Project Schedules.

- Creation of Project Plans, including cost and time budgets.

- Cash flow management and MIS (Management Information System) for regular reviews.

- Invoicing, Payment Collections, and financial tracking.

- Procurement of materials, both manufactured items and bought-out items, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.

2. Coordination & Monitoring:

- Interact with Clients/Consultants for smooth project execution and issue resolution.

- Attend Project Review Meetings to monitor project progress and address any discrepancies.

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and execution as per project timelines.

- Monitor project execution at various sites, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

- Take corrective actions as necessary to ensure the project stays on time and within budget.

3. Project Controls:

- Ensure adherence to time and cost budgets, optimizing project delivery.

- Handle project review meetings, project controls, and ongoing monitoring to ensure success.

Required Skills & Attributes:

- Smart, Presentable with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

- Strong presentation skills.

- Computer literate, proficient in project management software and tools.

- Candidates with experience in Government Contracts, Renserv Modernization Hydro Power Project would be highly preferred.

Key Result Area:

- Ensuring the execution of the project within the cost and time budget will be a critical performance metric.
