Senior Manager - Plant HR - Manufacturing

1. HR Business Partnering:

- Act as a strategic HR partner to the Plant Head and functional leaders.

- Support business goals through workforce planning and organization development initiatives.

- Provide HR insights and recommendations on people-related matters.

2. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations:

- Maintain harmonious industrial relations and positive employee relations at the plant.

- Manage interactions with workers, unions, and employee committees where applicable.

- Handle disciplinary matters, grievance management, and conflict resolution.

- Conduct domestic inquiries and ensure adherence to company policies.

3. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

- Plan and execute manpower requirements for permanent, contractual, and temporary workforce.

- Drive recruitment processes for plant positions.

- Ensure timely onboarding and induction of new employees.

4. Performance & Talent Management:

- Facilitate performance management processes, goal setting, and performance reviews.

- Identify high-potential employees and support succession planning.

- Partner with business leaders on talent development initiatives.

5. Learning & Development:

- Identify capability gaps and prepare training calendars.

- Coordinate technical, behavioral, compliance, and leadership development programs.

- Monitor effectiveness of training initiatives and skill enhancement programs.

6. Employee Engagement & Culture:

- Drive employee engagement initiatives and communication programs.

- Organize cultural, wellness, and recognition activities.

- Conduct employee feedback surveys and implement action plans.

7. Statutory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory requirements.

- Maintain records related to labor legislation, contract labor, wages, and employee documentation.

- Coordinate with government authorities and auditors during inspections.

8. HR Operations:

- Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll inputs, and employee records.

- Ensure accurate HRMIS data management and reporting.

- Monitor contract workforce administration and vendor compliance.

9. HR Metrics & Reporting:

- Analyze key HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, productivity, hiring, and engagement.

- Provide regular reports and actionable insights to plant leadership.
