Job Description:

We at 91Springboard have a unique opportunity for someone to build and scale finance processes and controls from the ground up. The Senior Manager - FP&A role will provide you exposure across Budgeting and reporting, Project Accounting (Capex Management), Unit economics and Process improvement and automation.

For this role, we are looking for talented individuals with a stellar academic record, who can take risks and assume ownership of multiple projects under ambiguity. S/he will be equally comfortable doing C-Suite presentations. The Senior Manager - FP&A would lead a team and needs to excel at managing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:

- 1.1 Preparing the yearly Annual Operating Plan in consultation with various stakeholders

- 1.2 Prepare monthly rolling forecasts and identify emerging risks and opportunities.

- 1.3 Build financial scenarios for different occupancy, pricing, growth and cost assumptions.

- 1.4 Track actual performance against AOP, forecast and prior year.

2. Business Performance & Management Reporting:

- 2.1 Monthly performance reporting, variance analysis and other analytical reports.

- 2.2 Prepare management dashboards and MIS for Senior Leadership

- 2.3 Conduct detailed Revenue, EBITDA and cost variance analysis

- 2.4 Identify key business drivers behind performance and recommend corrective actions

3. Capex Planning:

- 3.1 Preparing the Capex budget and the Five year plan

- 3.2 Prepare financial models for new centres, managed workspace opportunities and expansion projects

- 3.3 Evaluate Capex, occupancy ramp-up, pricing, rent, operating costs and cash-flow requirements

- 3.4 Assess IRR, ROIC, payback period, NPV and other investment metrics

4. HUB Economics:

- 4.1 Develop and maintain hub-level P&L and unit economics.

- 4.2 Analyse occupancy, pricing, revenue/seat, revenue/sq. ft., cost/seat and hub EBITDA.

- 4.3 Identify underperforming hubs and coordination with Operations and Sales teams on improvement plans

- 4.4 Analyse customer, product and contract-level profitability

5. Cost & Profitability Improvement:

- 5.1 Identify opportunities to improve hub and corporate cost productivity.

- 5.2 Monitor key cost metrics such as rent/seat, employee cost/seat, utilities, maintenance and other operating costs

- 5.3 Identify operating leverage opportunities and quantify EBITDA impact.

6. Process Improvement & Automation and Others:

- 6.1 Drive automation of recurring MIS, reporting and forecasting processes.

- 6.2 Improve data quality, reporting consistency and timeliness.

- 6.3 Responsible for giving various ad hoc reports to CFO and other stakeholders.

- 6.4 Doing competitor analysis and presenting the findings to CFO

Skill Set:

- Semi Qualified CA / MBA- finance

- 8+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting background preferably in large format retail chain.

- Advanced MS Excel skills required

- Strong understanding of P&L, Cash Flow, Unit economics and Financial Modelling

- Prior experience of working in the ERP system will be an advantage.
